Pop-Art Amusement Park

Holiday Festival Event

• Our concept envisioned a festive market square centered around a charming bandstand. By designing three unique Georgian-style stalls with varied color schemes and details, along with POV and lighting studies, we captured the scene's atmosphere. The project culminated in detailed day and night illustrations, showcasing the space’s dynamic possibilities.

Music Man Theatre Show

• We designed 8 dynamic backdrop illustrations for ESCAPE Theatre’s youth production of The Music Man, visually enhancing the stage for their 2024 performance. Each illustration captured the vibrant spirit of Meredith Willson's heartwarming classic, from the bustling heartland to the iconic moments of joy and music. This collaboration complemented the efforts of 300 talented young performers, immersing audiences in a lively, unforgettable theatrical experience.

Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel

• Jason developed a photo-real rendering of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser entrance, showcasing a textured, concrete façade designed to contrast the sleek, sci-fi interior of the spaceship. The illustration balanced form and function, enhancing the narrative and offering a contrast to the immersive experience to follow. Presented at the 2020 D23 event, the design also served as a key reference for production planning.

Space 220 Restaurant

• Jason created marketing art for Space 220, a one-of-a-kind dining experience at Epcot, blending space exploration with culinary innovation. Unveiled at the 2019 D23 Expo, these concept illustrations showcased the space elevator journey and cosmic dining ambiance, featuring tiered seating with sweeping views of outer space. These designs were integral to promoting the restaurant’s immersive atmosphere and imaginative guest experience.

Inside-Out: Emotional Whirlwind

• Our team created concept art and design for the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, infusing the ride with the vibrant emotion-filled visuals inspired by Pixar’s Inside Out. By collaborating on pre-production, aligning operational needs, and leading the development of an animatic walk-through, we ensured a polished presentation for stakeholders. This creative foundation set the stage for an unforgettable experience at Pixar Pier.

• Through detailed art direction, concept development, and production design, the games at Pixar Pier were transformed into deeply immersive experiences inspired by Pixar’s beloved stories. From creating schematics to overseeing installation, every element was thoughtfully crafted to bring characters from "WALL•E," "La Luna," and "A Bug's Life" into engaging, interactive midway booths. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, we ensured that each attraction seamlessly combined thematic design with functionality and charm.

• As Art Director, Jason led the creative vision for Colortopia at EPCOT, transforming conceptual ideas into a vibrant, interactive exhibit that celebrates the science of color. Animal Safari Theme Park

• Designed immersive attractions that seamlessly integrated animal habitats with guest experiences to bring the vision of an innovative safari theme park to life. Conducted thorough research and created dynamic concept art for unique features, including a zoetrope ferris wheel, Tarzan-inspired roller coaster, and a kayak aviary. The result was a series of imaginative concepts that captured the spirit of wildlife exploration and adventure.
